Jim Jarmusch´s new movie, Only Lovers Left Alive, a love story about vampires is now out in Helsinki. I went to see it right away, and almost didn’t tell anyone, because I wasn’t sure I had anything to say about it. I saw Donmar Warehouse production of Shakespeare´s less known (late) play Coriolanus yesterday in Helsinki via NT live cinema. For those who are not familiar with this art form, it´s simply a stage play shown live across the world as it happens. The final episode of Sherlock season 3 was seen in Finland on Sunday. I wasn’t overly impressed, but despair ye not, for I seldom am. I was disappointed in the lack of suspense, speed (other drugs were included, which I saw as a positive reference to original Conan Doyle’s creation), and sloppy script.
